Carriageway Consulting is a resource management consultancy specialising in traffic engineering and transport planning. Our staff have an impressive track record in providing high calibre technical advice in these areas, but we also have an emphasis on putting our clients first through open and regular communication and building strong relationships. This means that we don’t operate a high-volume, high-throughput business but focus instead on serving our clients exceptionally well. In short, we value quality over quantity.
We provide a comprehensive range of services from road safety and parking assessments to traffic management schemes and transport strategies, and we have a particular reputation for evaluating the transport effects of land use development. This involves identifying the expected travel volumes and patterns at proposed developments and then assessing the performance of transport networks both within and outside the site to ensure that they operate efficiently and safely.
Our clients include ‘blue chip’ companies, small private sector developers, and local authorities. And our experience ranges from six-section residential subdivisions and small office blocks, to major industrial complexes, large hotels and retirement villages. We can also act as independent commissioners for Council Hearings.
